"We normally do not directly respond to reports about our Company, including those from sources a great deal more reputable than a blog," stated Reuben Richards, EMCORE's Chief Executive Officer. EMCORE is known worldwide as a technology leader and innovator. We are well positioned in our core markets to continue substantial revenue growth and to improve profitability, and we stand by our products, our customers and our markets. Government securities regulators have been asked to investigate whether improper relationships exist between this blog and recent short selling of our stock."
