SEM of roughened GaN surfaces
Scanning electron micrographs of (top) p-GaN surface without any surface-roughening treatment, (middle) roughened p-GaN surface, and (bottom) roughened undoped-GaN surface. The surface rms roughness values are 11.8 nm, 71.6 nm and 91.9 nm respectively.
