Wafer growth and processing for JDSU's 2495-L3 Series AlGaAs laser diodes are done in its facilities is San Jose, California. Once the wafer process is complete, the individual die are shipped to the JDSU manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China, where they are assembled into the fiber coupled L3 diode module package and shipped to the end user.
