Lumileds appoints VP sales and business development
Lumileds has appointed Brian Wilcox as regional VP of sales and business development for Illumination in North and South America, effective immediately. Wilcox joins Lumileds from Samsung LED, where he was senior director of LED Sales.
He is an industry veteran with expertise in sales management and LED applications at firms including Seoul Semiconductor, Feit Electric and Philips Lumileds. "Brian has long-standing relationships with the world's leading lighting manufacturers. That, coupled with his insight into industry direction, makes him the ideal candidate to extend our comprehensive portfolio through key accounts at this time," said Steve Barlow, SVP of Lumileds.
Wilcox is tasked with driving strategic sales and growth solutions among account leaders, channel partners and the development teams of Luxeon Matrix Platform configurable solutions. He is located in the Atlanta area and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his Juris Doctor from Chapman School of Law.
