Solar Systems urges CPV market to "grow up"
The Australian company says it welcomes help in pushing the GaAs solar system agenda, but warns against over-hyping the emerging technology.

Solar Systems has issued a caution to fellow companies in the III-V solar industry: stop getting carried away with supply deals, and focus on the key challenge of electricity generation.
“What we re all trying to produce is actually units of electricity in large scale, and the market needs to grow up and realize that,” said Dave Holland, the managing director of the concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) system maker.
