Soraa Luminaire Wins Innovation Award
LED light firm Soraa has received a Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products for its Soraa ARC adjustable luminaires, part of the company's growing portfolio of directional fixtures.
The PIA awards recognise innovation in the development and refinement of building-related products. Judged by a group of 16 independent industry professionals, the program impartially recognises manufacturers of products shaping the future of architecture.
“Central to Soraa's mission is a commitment to developing products that equip lighting professionals to transform how people experience the most visually compelling spaces around the world,” said Jeff Parker, CEO of Soraa. “We consider recognition from Architectural Products Magazine for our luminaires as a significant honour in highlighting that commitment, and as encouragement to continue helping shape the future of our industry.”
Engineered around an ultra-thin profile die-cast heat sink and two-axis rotation, the fixture is optimised for superior thermal management and endowed with Soraa's signature quality of light, featuring rich colours, perfectly rendered whites and clean, crisp beams supporting infinite applications.
“Building on the success of last year's program, our eighth edition of the awards proves commercial building manufacturers are committed to, and are working arduously toward, delivering more sustainable products, as well as products that deliver better performance, life and affordability,” stated Jim Crockett, Editorial Director, Architectural Products Magazine.
Soraa's recognition for the award will be featured in the November 2018 print edition of Architectural Products Magazine, alongside fellow recipients.
