News

Speakers from Rockley, Technology Scotland, Pure LiFi, Teledyne e2v and Scottish Enterprise at upcoming Glasgow event

CST Global will be holding its second T@CST forum event on the16th May 2019 in Glasgow, focussing on the commercialisation of VCSEL arrays, LiDar and LiFi technology.

Euan Livingston, VP sales and marketing at CST Global, said: “VCSEL, LiDar and LiFi technologies are all rapidly developing with a high technology readiness level. They are already used in many real-life applications including autonomous vehicles, transportation, atomic clocks, data comms and sensing. The keynote speakers chosen for the next T@CST forum are well-placed to encapsulate the many market opportunities and challenges our industry currently faces."

Jim Haynes of Rockley Photonics will be looking at ultra-high volume, silicon photonics solutions. Alastair McInroy of Technology Scotland will be covering Scotland’s transport and mobility strategy. Chris Tate, director of Pure LiFi will be summarising LiFi technology. Ole Kock of Teledyne e2v will look at the commercial considerations of Atomic clocks, which combine quantum and VCSEL technologies. Lastly, Mark Western of Scottish Enterprise will cover funding choices for companies operating in this sector.

Anybody wishing to attend the next T@CST forum event should contact Sharon Doonin of CST Global on sharon.doonin@cstglobal.uk.
