ANADIGICS Announces Multi-Million Unit Orders and Production Shipments of RF Switches for the Wireless Handset Market

The Company begins production shipments of linear RF switches for use in innovative dual-mode digital phones

Warren, NJ. ANADIGICS announced that it has received an order for more than 10 million RF switches and has begun production shipments to one of the largest U.S. based manufacturers of wireless handsets. The AWS5504S14 and AWS5506S14 single supply 3-volt RF switches will be used in an innovative 800 MHz Digital CDMA/AMPS dual-mode phone that is enjoying increased cellular market penetration, particularly in the US. The strong order for ANADIGICS new switch products strengthens the Company s position in the wireless market with the addition of another key high-volume wireless customer.
