EPI MBE Products Group Announces Orders for GEN2000 Multiwafer Production MBE System
EPI MBE Products Group announces that it has received orders for two GEN2000 Multiwafer Production MBE (Molecular Beam Epitaxy) Systems from Filtronic Compound Semiconductors Ltd. (LSE:FTC), based in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham, England.
Keith Stodart, Materials Manager at Filtronic, states, " We evaluated all of our available options and feel that EPI MBE Products Group offers the best overall system and service package. The design of the GEN2000 provides the highest throughput at the lowest cost while maintaining superior product quality, which will be required to satisfy our customers needs. The Cluster Tool design, proven throughout the silicon semiconductor industry, is an intrinsically simpler, therefore more reliable design."
