ANADIGICS Ships Production Volumes of Multi-Band Power Amplifiers for Ericsson's new TDMA T18d Handsets

Warren, NJ. The Company s power amplifier is selected for Ericsson s first mobile phone that delivers digital data/fax capabilities ANADIGICS (NASDAQ:ANAD), a leading supplier of wireless and broadband communications solutions, announced that the Company has shipped production volumes of multi-band power amplifiers (PAs) for use in Ericsson s T18d dual-band wireless phones, which feature digital fax/data and full graphic display capabilities.

Ericsson s T18d is the third T-class platform to utilize ANADIGICS patented multi-band technology, which enabled operation in DAMPS 900 MHz and TDMA 1900 MHz bands using one PA. "We are very pleased to have been selected by Ericsson in its first mobile phone that features digital data/fax capabilities and full graphic display. With the addition of this design win, we continue to expand the number of platforms served by our patented multi-band PA technology," remarks Dr. Bami Bastani, President & CEO of ANADIGICS.
