ANADIGICS Announces Receipt of Production Orders for Its CDMA Power Amplifier Modules

A Leading CDMA Handset Manufacturer Selects Two InGaP HBT Power Amplifier Modules for Use in CDMA Handsets

Warren, NJ. ANADIGICS, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAD), a leading supplier of wireless and broadband communications solutions, has today announced production orders and pre-production shipments of two of the Companies CDMA power amplifier module products to a leading CDMA handset manufacturer. The AWT6105 and AWT6106 are the first in a new series of InGaP HBT (indium gallium phosphide hetrojunction bipolar transistor) power amplifier modules that provide low and high band operation for CDMA handsets. ANADIGICS expects this design win to ramp in the 2H01 and estimates approximately $20-25 Million in revenue for 2002.

The AWT6105 and AWT6106 devices are high power, high efficiency power amplifier modules designed for next generation multi-mode CDMA/AMPS/PCS wireless handsets that support high-speed data services. Both products utilize ANADIGICS InGaP technology, which combines outstanding efficiency with state-of-the-art reliability, temperature stability and ruggedness.
