Aeronex Signs Strategic Agreement with Emcore to be Total Purification Supplier
San Diego, CA. Aeronex announces a five-year agreement to supply Emcore, Somerset, NJ, with private labeled specialty purifiers for atmospheric and specialty gases. The gas purifiers will be used in the production of GaN (Gallium Nitride) and GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) devices, such as LEDs (light emitting diodes), which require the highest purity of gases, especially ammonia. The Aeronex purifiers will be used in both Emcore s in-house production tools, and will be recommended for use in tools sold to Emcore customers around the world.
Emcore, which offers a complete spectrum of compound semiconductor solutions for the broadband, wireless communications, and solid state lighting markets including optical devices, solar cells, electronic devices, electronic materials, and MOCVD tools, will also act as exclusive worldwide distributor and reseller of these purifiers.
