Accent Optical Technologies Receives $15.9M Investment Accent Optical Technologies (Bend, OR), formed recently from the buy-out of Bio-Rad s Semiconductor Division, has received a second round of funding from investors totaling $15.9 million. Accent says the proceeds will be used to finance the development of the optoelectronic research and development center in Hemel Hempstead, England, and to expand facilities in Korea, Taiwan and Japan. In addition, the funds will also be used as working capital and to retire debt.
