Stanford RFICs for Cellular/PCS/3G (GaAs News New Devices)

Sunnyvale, CA. Stanford Microdevices has unveiled a range of high-linearity PAs for cellular, PCS and 3G applications. Based on GaAs HBT technology, the SPA range covers the 850, 1950 and 2150 MHz frequency bands, and serve as driver amplifiers for base station and repeater applications. Featuring a 5 V supply voltage and offering an IP3 of typically 48 dBm, these devices are housed in standard surface-mount SOIC-8 plastic packages with backside metallization and priced at $10.95 in quantities of 50,000.
