E2O Selects Temescal Evaporation System (Markets, Materials and Equipment)
Temescal (Fairfield, CA) has been chosen to supply E2O Communications with a BJD-1800 evaporation system, to be used to process devices at E2O s 22,000 sq.ft. development facility based in Camarillo, CA. E2O sells VCSEL-based fiber-optic transceivers. According to E2O s director of marketing Mike Hartmann, the company is currently developing optoelectronic devices including long wavelength (1310 nm) VCSELs for all-optical communication networks. "Once developed, our devices will be manufactured at a new offshore manufacturing facility in Asia," says Hartmann.
