Agilent DFB laser modules reduce costs (New Devices)

Palo Alto, CA. Agilent Technologies has announced the development of a new family of 20 mW (+13 dBm) DFB laser modules designed to cut costs and increase throughputs in the R&D and manufacturing of optical amplifiers and DWDM systems. The 81663A offers full remote control, compatibility with Agilent compact tunable lasers, return loss and DFB source modules, single and dual-channel power meters and optical test mainframes, and the ability to install a maximum of 17 DFB modules in a single mainframe. www.agilent.com/comms/DFB
