Anadigics amplifier improves the picture (New Devices)
Warren, NJ. Anadigics has introduced a high-performance balanced linear amplifier targeting residential gateway, set-top box and other digital interactive cable devices. The ABA3100 is a single supply GaAs MMIC circuit that delivers 12 dB gain across the 50860 MHz CATV bandwidth, with an IP2 of +60 dBm. Noise of less than 3.2 dB allows the device to serve as an LNA that can compensate for loss of signal in digital set-top boxes. Other applications include base stations, driver amplifiers and CATV drop amplifiers. www.anadigics.com
