OptoLynx offers high-speed photodetector (New Devices)
West Lafayette, IN. OptoLynx has released a line of high-speed GaAs and InGaAs MSM photodetectors along with a series of GaAs PINs. Data rates of 10 Gbit/s are easily achievable with these devices. Photodetector active area, capacitance and responsivity will vary with bandwidth and application. The devices are available as single element detectors or in array form. Applications include serial and parallel Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, monitor diodes, POF, backplanes, etc. InGaAs PINs are in development, with amplifier circuits and monolithically integrated photoreceivers to follow.
