Vishay releases set of multimedia products (New Devices)
Malvern, PA. Vishay Intertechnology has released several new products. The TSOP7000 IR receiver module combines a photodetector and pre-amplifier operating at a 455 kHz carrier frequency for use in multimedia end products. The device operates at up to 20 kbit/s over transmission distances of up to 20 m. A new range of optocouplers feature a thin 2 mm profile and consist of a phototransistor optically coupled to a GaAs IRED. Intended for current isolation, the eight new TCMT11xx Miniflat optocouplers are designed for PCMCIA cards, notebook modems, telecommunications products and programmable logic controllers. www.vishay.com
