CDMA PA modules order for Anadigics (GaAs News)

Anadigics has recently announced production orders and pre-production shipments for two of the company s CDMA power amplifier modules from a leading CDMA handset manufacturer. The orders are for Anadigics new series AWT6105 and AWT6106 InGaP HBT modules that are designed to provide both low- and high-band operation for CDMA hand-sets. Anadigics expects this order to ramp up in the second half of the year, and estimates around $2025 million in revenue for 2002. "CDMA represents the fastest growing segment of the wireless handset market," said Bami Bastani, president and CEO. "The positive response from the leading CDMA OEM handset manufacturer to our products underlines the success of our InGaP HBT efforts in the wireless marketplace. This production win is an important step in achieving our goal of gaining over 50% of our wireless revenue from non-MESFET products by the end of 2001."
