Samco floats stock (Asia News)
In a move to raise capital to fund expansion, shares in Samco International were listed on the Tokyo stock exchange on May 30. Samco, which is headquartered in Kyoto and has research labs in California, plans to use the capital to buy buildings for a new factory in Kyoto. Samco s main products are tools for PECVD, reactive ion etching and UV ozone cleaning. In the half-year ended January 2001, 43% of the company s sales went into laser and LED production.
