Emcore ships 15 000 six inch epiwafers (Materials and Equipment)
Emcore reports that its Electronic Materials Division has shipped 15 000 six inch HBT and PHEMT transistor wafers over a 12 month period. "The strong demand for our HBT and PHEMT wafers, coupled with our capability to offer high-volume production, has enabled Emcore to meet its customers requirements for high-volume, on-time delivery at a low cost," said Reuben Richards, president and CEO. In more news, the company s Electronic Materials Division has also earned QS-9000 certification for its wafer manufacturing activities, adding to its status as an ISO-9000 supplier.
