Agilent offers L-band laser module (New Devices)
Palo Alto, CA. Agilent Technologies has unveiled a new high-power (+13 dBm) DFB laser source module covering the ITU grid (100 GHz spacing) in L-Band DWDM applications. The 81663A employs the company s 816xA VXI plug and play driver, which reduces test time prior to installation. The new modules contain Agilent s tunable lasers, which reduce inventory and maintenance costs, in addition to providing full remote control via the company s plug and play driver. The module features an output power of 20 mW and is available for $7350 in the US. www.agilent.com
