Trion Technology expands in Florida (Materials and Equipment)
Trion Technology, a manufacturer of plasma etchers and deposition equipment based in Tempe, AZ, has acquired additional manufacturing and clean room space in Clearwater, FL. The 12 000 sq. ft facility will support East Coast sales and the growing demand from compound semiconductor and optoelectronics markets, said marketing manager Forrest van Benthuysen. Trion s products include PECVD systems, RIE and ICP etchers for metal, oxide and nitride etch, and systems for resist removal and cleaning.
