Kingbright releases blue SMD LEDs (New Devices)
OPTO PRODUCTS City of Industry, CA Kingbright has released what it describes as one of the smallest low-cost blue surface-mount (SMD) LEDs available. The GaN-on-SiC chip is designed for low-brightness applications and is centered on a wavelength of 430 nm. The device is housed in the company s 0402 surface mount package, which measures 1.0 0.5 0.5 mm. Also available is a 20 bar-graph display consisting of 20 LED segments with a typical output of 2.2 cd. www.kingbright-led.com
