Samsung Galaxy Note II Powered By Anadigics

Anadigics has shipped production volumes of single-band and dual-band indium gallium phosphide based PAs in the United States and Asia
Anadigics is shipping production volumes of its ALT6702, ALT6725, AWC6323 AWC6325, and AWT6624 LTE, CDMA, and WCDMA PAs to Samsung Electronics for the new Galaxy Note II.



The Verizon Wireless model of the Samsung Galaxy Note II uses Anadigics’ AWC6323 PA, while the Sprint model is powered by the Company’s ALT6702 and AWC6323 power amplifiers (PAs). 

Other models for several wireless carriers in the United States and Asia use one or a combination of Anadigics single-band and dual-band power amplifiers.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note II continues the evolution of a new class of converged devices that blend the functionality and form factors of both smartphones and tablets, commonly referred to as a “phablet." 

The device offers a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, updated S Pen stylus, 8 megapixel camera, and 1.6 GHz quad-core processor.

The Galaxy Note II comes with a suite of software including the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

The ALT6702 and AWT6624 single-band, and ALT6725, AWC6323 and AWC6325 dual-band power amplifiers use the company's patented design architectures and its InGaP-Plus technology.
