The future of lighting will unfold at the Lighting Inspirations experience centre at Acuity Brands at booth #801 during LIGHTFAIR International in Philadelphia
Tours of the Lighting Inspirations experience centre will run every 20 minutes during exhibit hours between April 23rd and 25th, 2013.

Lighting Inspirations will take participants on a journey to understand the future of lighting including technological advances, environmental consciousness and expected changes in the industry. The tour explores the newest lighting opportunities created by innovative products and expressive concepts.

“We are excited to share the latest in OLED innovation, RGB and tunable white, lighting controls and protocols, and more,” says David Grimm, Acuity Brands Lighting Vice President, Marketing. “We hope the experience will not only open some eyes, but will inspire visitors to understand the real potential of advanced lighting technologies.”

Some of the latest innovations and technologies displayed include:

Aera LED from Winona: A dynamic recessed architectural LED luminaire adjustable in colour, brightness and readily encourages “user customization” of colour settings, circadian rhythm support and change-over-time dynamics.

PARÃTA from Winona: An RGB family including indoor and outdoor solutions with unique RGB mixing to provide high quality light in multiple temperatures.

Tuneable White Light Luminaires from Mark Architectural Lighting and Gotham: New tuneable white technology allows a wide gamut of color temperatures and hues for superior lighting quality and a range of adjustments.

Products include Veil LED luminaires from Mark Architectural Lighting and EVO LED downlights from Gotham. Axion Controls: Digital controls born in the digital age that feature a dynamic control concept that combines energy management, architectural dimming, and theatrical effects into one engaging interface.
