Custom MMIC announces 2-6 GHz MMIC Driver Amp

Wideband GaAs MMIC offers high gain and small die size

Custom MMIC has added a new amplifier to its portfolio, the CMD231 2 to 6GHz driver amplifier.

The CMD231 is a wideband GaAs MMIC driver amplifier that offers high gain, single positive supply voltage, low current consumption, and small die size. It is  suited for communications systems needing small size and high linearity, according to the company.

The device operates from a +3 to +6 V supply. At 4GHz, it delivers greater than 14.5dB of gain with a corresponding output 1dB compression point of +13.5dBm and an output IP3 of 23.5 dBm.
