Trumpf to show latest lasers at Photonics West 2023

News

VCSEL and photodiodes offer solutions for sensing, laser heat treatment and comms

At Photonics West 2023 (31 Jan to 2nd Feb 2023, Moscone Center, San Francisco), Trumpf will feature its latest laser technology and products. This will include its mini laser highlights in the field of VCSEL and edge-emitting lasers.

The company's VCSELs and photodiodes offer solutions for consumer and industrial sensing but also for laser heat treatment and optical data communication applications. With new features as polarisation stable VCSELs the illumination quality is increased. Other features as multi-junction VCSEL technology or integrated optics drive system efficiency and miniaturisation.

Also on display will be the new TruFiber 6000 S fibre laser for fast, deep engraving; the new TruMicro 6020 ultrashort pulse laser; and the compact TruMicro 2030 ultrashort pulse laser with LLK-µ industrialised fibre delivery.

The company will in addition show a live demonstration of the latest Programmable Focusing Optic (PFO) 33 for high power laser applications with VisionLine OCT Detect 3D feature recognition capability; and a new TruMark 7050 laser marker as part of a TruMark Station 7000.
