Altum RF to Present on III-V technology at IMS 2019

News

Session demonstrates superior circuit design for broadband millimetre-wave power amplifiers

Altum RF, an Eindhoven-based start-up focussing on millimetre-wave to digital semiconductor solutions, will be giving a presentation titled 'Broadband Millimetre-wave Power: Making the most of III-V Technology' on 6th June at International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2019 at the Boston, Massachusetts Convention Center

The event is part of MicroApps at IMS IEEE 2019 and the speaker is Tony Fattorini, VP Engineering, Altum RF.

Fattorini will talk about recent power amplifier designs using new GaAs and GaN technology with a focus on the unified modeling of electrical, electromagnetic and thermal characteristics of the transistor device. Through appropriate technology selection and a model-aware design process, superior circuit performance is demonstrated in products that support emerging applications such as 5G, mobile satcom and advanced radar sensors.
