Altum announces RF test lab in Sydney

Expansion includes full RF measurement capabilities
Altum RF, a supplier of high-performance millimetre-wave to digital semiconductor solutions, has announced the expansion of its Sydney, Australia office with an RF Test Lab.
Altum RF’s Sydney, Australia office is located adjacent to the Sydney Innovation and Technology Precinct and now includes full RF test and characterization infrastructure up to 65 GHz, with future plans to expand capabilities to 125 GHz. The RF lab also ensures ESD-safe measurements.
“Adding full RF measurement capabilities at our Sydney office demonstrates our commitment to growing our product portfolio with the highest-performing and most advanced technology,” stated Greg Baker, Altum RF CEO. “This investment not only supports the design team’s efforts, it also allows for enhanced application support to our customers.”
Secure Your Hydrogen Supply
A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.
