Osram LED wins Edison Award
Quantum D=dot-based Osconiq S 3030 LED chosen as a 2020 Silver Winner
Osram has been named a Silver Winner of the 2020 Edison Awards. The award is for the Osconiq S 3030 white mid-power LED featuring quantum dot technology, designed for area lighting and downlight applications in shops, homes, industrial sites, and offices.
The Osconiq S 3030 was chosen as a winner by a panel of over 3,000 business executives from around the world.
According to Osram, the quantum dot technology has a narrow band red emission and a high spectral purity that enables excellent light quality with a minimum CRI of 90, while delivering high efficacy (lm/W).
