News

Company receives 'Best Prototype' Category

Porotech, a pioneer in micro-LED and GaN-based semiconductor material technology, is the winner of the Innovation Zone Award - Best Prototype Category at 2022 Display Week in San Jose, California.

Porotech’s DynamicPixelTuning technology powered by its PoroGaN microdisplay platform was voted by the industry professionals in the exhibition as the game-changing innovation. The technology breakthrough unlocks dynamic colour tuning of LED chips and pixels and is set to resolve the current microLED challenges in performance and manufacturability for AR/VR/MR applications.

“Winning this award signifies the deep technology work in GaN-based semiconductor materials and structures carried out by our team at Porotech to innovate and further develop into our microLED display portfolio,” said Porotech CEO and co-founder Tongtong Zhu. “We are deeply honoured to be recognised by the global display community.”
