Filtronic to exhibit at AOC Europe

Company demonstrates expertise in devices for electronic warfare
RF and mmWave company Filtronic, is exhibiting at AOC Europe in Bonn, Germany, from May 15 to 17, 2023. Filtronic’s team will be showing the company's capabilities including transmit and receive modules (TRMs), transceiver modules and switched filter bank technologies.
Filtronic will also display its range of switched filter banks, which consist of a combination of switches and filters integrated into a single module. This integration, which is completed in-house by Filtronic, helps minimise transitions between circuits, leading to optimal matching and physical size reduction.
“Electronic warfare is a core market for Filtronic. It is a growing part of modern conflict and governments around the world are increasing their investment in this technology,” explained Jerry Sanham, director of business development at Filtronic. “We’ve exhibited at AOC Europe before, and found that all of our major defence customers were in attendance, which made returning in 2023 an easy decision.
“Events like AOC Europe are so important in our industry,” continued Sanham. “They bring together our core customer base, providing the opportunity to network with existing contacts and meet new ones. Staying ahead of the technological wave in the electronic warfare industry is something that Filtronic prides itself on and the conference that runs parallel at AOC Europe provides a core learning opportunity for us too.”
Secure Your Hydrogen Supply
A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.
