Polish research institute to use SR4000HT MOCVD reactors for advanced nitride R&D

Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corp (TSNC) has announced that the Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Unipress) will purchase and use multiple TNSC SR4000HT MOCVD reactors for its advanced nitride research and development.

“Taiyo Nippon Sanso is very proud to establish a relationship with Unipress for research and development of advanced nitride materials and device technology. Taiyo Nippon Sanso is looking forward to working with Professor Michal Bockowski and the Unipress research community to further enhance its already great reputation as leaders in the field of nitride semiconductor research,” said TNSC senior corporate officer Kunihiro Kobayashi.

“Unipress is very excited to partner with Taiyo Nippon Sanso. The selection of multiple TNSC SR4000HT MOCVD systems and partnership with Taiyo Nippon Sanso enables Unipress to have state-of-the-art epitaxial growth capabilities for nitrides in combination with Unipress’ established world-class GaN bulk crystal growth technologies. We are eager to leverage TNSC technology to push the boundaries of nitride semiconductor research,” said Bockowski, director of Unipress.
