Description

A Hi-tech venture with potential to create five thousand new jobs is being launched in Cardiff. It is being described as the world's first compound semiconductor cluster and is based on a joint venture between the company IQE and Cardiff University. Compound semiconductors are used in a host of new technologies from wireless technology and smart phones to solar energy.
