EPC appoints Spirit as specialist Distributor

News

Spirit Electronics now provides distribution support to assist defence and aerospace customers in adopting eGaN FETs and ICs for power conversion systems

Efficient Power Conversion Corporation (EPC) has appointed Spirit Electronics as a distribution partner focusing on defence and aerospace markets.

Spirit Electronics, in operation since 1979 and located in Phoenix, Arizona and Irvine, California, supplies products and services to the US Department of Defense, aerospace, and telecommunication industries.

"Spirit Electronics' knowledge of the market, along with their extensive history and proven successful track record for working with defence and aerospace customers make them a perfect partner for representing EPC's industry-leading, off-the-shelf eGaN FET and IC product line," commented Nick Cataldo, EPC vice president of sales and marketing.

Marti McCurdy, CEO of Spirit Electronics, noted that: "Our new partnership with EPC is an exciting addition to our portfolio of products and will allow us to bring the superior performance of eGaN power transistors and ICs to defence and aerospace customers, so they can design leading edge power system solutions."
