Wolfspeed and BorgWarner sign multiyear SiC agreement
Wolfspeed has announced a multiyear supply agreement for its SiC devices to support BorgWarner’s next-generation 800V SiC-based inverter platform as strategic partner. BorgWarner is using Wolfspeed’s Gen 5 1200V SiC technology in the inverter.
The agreement builds on the companies’ longstanding collaboration and is designed to provide BorgWarner with consistent, uninterrupted access to Wolfspeed SiC devices.
