Macom to show latest MMICs and GaN-on-Si technology in London

News
Company to debut new portfolio of DC to 100GGHz MMICs and RF energy products at European Microwave Week

Macom Technology, a supplier of RF, microwave, mmwave, and photonic semiconductor products, will be showing what it claims is the broadest and most advanced MMIC product and technology portfolio at European Microwave Week, at the Excel Centre, October 4 to 6th 2016 in London.

Along with this new range of DC to 100GGHz MMICs, Macom will feature Gen 4 GaN-on-silicon devices for RF energy applications.

Featured products on the stand will include a new 2W wideband GaAs power amplifier covering DC to 22 GHz for T&M applications; and a 300W Gen 4 GaN power transistor for RF energy in both solid-state cooking and plasma lighting RF applications.

The company will also be presenting papers, posters and workshops at the event.

Papers include: "˜Development and Verification of a Scalable GaAs pHEMT FEM Thermal Model'; "˜Characterisation of Trapping in a GaN HEMT by Performing Isothermal Three-Stage Pulse Measurements'; "˜EM Analysis of Ka-Band Multi-Throw PIN Diode MMIC Switches'; and "˜Dependence of a Hybrid 125W S-Band Switch-Limiter Receiver Protector's Performance on Packaging Technique'.
