Emcore to Participate in Needham Growth Conference

US InP specialist to present at New York investment event

Emcore, a US provider of InP optical chips, components, subsystems, and systems for the broadband and specialty fibre optics market, has announced that its management will participate at the 19th Annual Needham Growth Conference, in New York City on Thursday, January 12, 2017. A live webcast and a replay webcast of the presentation will be available at http://investor.emcore.com

The conference is designed to give institutional investors, private equity firms and venture capitalists access to companies from a broad range of industries including communications & enterprise infrastructure; healthcare; industrial technology; Internet, entertainment & consumer; semiconductors & semiconductor equipment; and software & services.

In addition to presentations by senior executives, the NGC features panels in which experts discuss critical topics that will impact technology stock valuations in 2017 and beyond. A key goal of the conference is to deliver investable choices coupled with a better understanding of the rapidly changing environment in which each company operates.

Emcore's optical technologies are designed for cable television (CATV) and fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) networks, telecommunications and datacentres, satellite communications, aerospace and defence, wireless networks, and broadcast and professional audio/video systems. It has its own InP semiconductor wafer fabrication facility, and provides contract design, foundry and component packaging services.
