Singulus Awarded Major CIGS Contract
€20 million plus production equipment order signed by Chinese customerÂ
Singulus Technologies AG has signed a major contract with the subsidiary of a major public energy company and producer of solar modules from China.
Worth over €20 million, the contract is for the delivery of Vistaris vacuum sputtering systems as well as systems for wet chemical buffer layer deposition with the brand name Tenuis II. These machines are central components for the manufacturing of CIGS thin-film modules.
The order is still subject to the approval of the relevant boards. The outstanding payment for the order is expected soon, according to Singulus.
For thin-film solar cells Singulus Technologies focuses on CIS/CIGS technology and offers machines for all of the relevant processing steps.
