News

New high lumen directional LED bulbs suit rooms with high ceilings and consumers who want more light

Cree has expanded of its bulb family with new high lumen directional LED bulbs designed specifically for rooms with high ceilings and for consumers who want more light.

The portfolio is said to deliver the brightest flood lights available on the market today with new BR30 100W replacements, as well as R20 75W lamps. The new bulbs uphold Cree's commitment to offer consumers high quality, no compromise LED bulbs that provide better light experiences for all applications, homes and lifestyles.

Cree's new high lumen LED bulbs emit more than twice as much light as typical LED floods, providing consumers the right amount of light for everyday activities, such as cooking, reading and working. The BR30 100W and R20 75W Cree LED Bulbs are said to feature beautiful, high colour rendering index (CRI) light that enhances home décor and makes colours appear true and natural.

Each Cree LED bulb is also fully dimmable without buzzing or humming, so consumers can adjust light levels to meet their needs and preferences for maximum comfort.

"Until now, consumers have not been able to buy directional LED lights in a wide variety of wattage equivalencies. This expansion upholds Cree's commitment to delivering on the promise and potential of energy-efficient LED lighting solutions," said Al Safarikas, Cree vice president of marketing, lamps. "Cree's new flood lights fill the void created by the disappearance of high wattage incandescent bulbs. Consumers no longer have to compromise on the brightness they need for the efficiency they want."
