Low noise figure from SiGe LNA (New Devices)

Sunnyvale, CA. Stanford Microdevices has introduced the SGA-8343, a SiGe-based HBT LNA offering high gain and linearity across the DC to 6 GHz band. Manufactured using an external foundry process, Stanford s device is designed to offer 0.9 dB of noise at 0.9 GHz and 1.1 dB of noise at 1.9 GHz, and features a gain of 24 dB at 0.9 GHz and 19 dB at 1.9 GHz. The third-order output intercept point (IP3) is +28.5 dBm. The SGA-8343 is housed in a standard SOT-343 surface-mount plastic package, and is priced at $0.26 each in quantities of 10 000. www.stanfordmicro.com
