CS-MAX call for papers: extended deadline June 18

The abstract deadline for the Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Expo (CS-MAX) technical conference, organized by Compound Semiconductor magazine, has now been extended until 18th June 2004. Call for Papers information and instructions are available via the link below.

CS-MAX, the Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Expo organized by Compound Semiconductor magazine, returns in October this year.

Running on 26-28 October at the Monterey Convention Center in Monterey, CA, CS-MAX will be co-located with the Compound Semiconductor IC Symposium (CSICS, formerly the GaAs IC Symposium), the leading conference organized by the IEEE.

A single, unified industry exhibition will run in parallel with these two technical conferences, and the five-day series of events on 24-28 October will collectively be known as “Compound Semiconductor Week”. Monterey Bay will provide both a picturesque and convenient setting for the event.

CS-MAX provides a forum for everybody involved in the manufacture of compound semiconductor devices. It is the only conference to focus on all compound semiconductors in high-volume production, including all types of commercial GaAs and InP devices, fiber-optic components and LEDs.

With CS-MAX running in tandem with CSICS, a highly-respected technical conference focused on IC design, Compound Semiconductor Week will enable the entire compound semiconductor community to learn about the latest developments in all aspects of the industry, from device design and source materials through to wafer dicing and device testing.

Plenary sessions at both the technical conferences will complete the picture, with up-to-date market analysis for all aspects of the industry from respected experts, and speakers from leading compound semiconductor device manufacturing companies.

“The co-location of two of the industry’s leading events will represent an unprecedented opportunity for the whole compound semiconductor community to learn about the latest innovations and to network with colleagues and customers,” said Sarah Chilcott, publisher of Compound Semiconductor magazine. “Compound Semiconductor Week promises to be the must-attend event of the year.”

Technical papers can be submitted to both CS-MAX and CSICS now. For more details on the Call for Papers, instructions for exhibitors and hotel accommodation in Monterey, follow the appropriate web link.

CS-MAX is organized by the staff of Compound Semiconductor magazine, the leading publication in compound semiconductors and silicon heterostructures.
