STRATEGIC FOUNDRY RELATIONSHIP

Foundry Agreement Drives ANADIGICS’ New Hybrid Manufacturing Strategy

TAIPEI, Taiwan and WARREN, New Jersey, October 05, 2009, - ANADIGICS, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAD), a leading global supplier for the communications markets, and WIN Semiconductors Corp., the world’s largest pure-play Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) foundry, today announced a strategic agreement for the design and manufacture of GaAs microwave monolithic integrated circuits (MMIC). GaAs ICs are used in wireless handsets and data devices that allow people to connect and communicate anywhere, anytime.

This relationship forms the cornerstone of ANADIGICS’ hybrid manufacturing strategy which provides for a mix of internal and external manufacturing capability to ensure customer demand can be met at all times. WIN has agreed to provide ANADIGICS with GaAs foundry processing services to meet customer demand for its high-performance, radio frequency integrated circuits (ICs). The foundry agreement complements the continued production of industry-leading products at ANADIGICS’ 6-inch GaAs manufacturing facility in New Jersey.

“We’re pleased to announce this strategic relationship at a time when WIN Semiconductors celebrates ten years of delivering world-class GaAs foundry services. ANADIGICS has pioneered the acceptance of GaAs technology within the global markets through collaboration with our customers, who are leaders in their industry sectors and demand innovative, high quality products,” said Mario Rivas, chief executive officer at ANADIGICS. “With this new relationship, not only will we be able to meet the increasing customer demand, our design teams will be able to leverage a range of additional technologies in order to produce the industry’s highest performance, highest quality RF products for our customers.”

This foundry relationship is a key component of ANADIGICS’ new hybrid manufacturing strategy. Together with its in-house manufacturing facility, the company can continue to deliver best-in-class RF devices to the wireless and broadband marketplaces. Consumers and businesses continue to demand instantaneous connection anywhere, anytime, a need which is met by the delivery of the industry’s highest performance parts.

“We’re looking forward to working with ANADIGICS to deliver services that complement its internal strengths. ANADIGICS has a strong reputation for its high performance RF devices, and we look forward to making our technologies available to their RF designers,” commented Dennis Chen, chairman at WIN Semiconductors. “Like ANADIGICS, our business culture is very customer-centric, which is why WIN has become the largest pure-play GaAs foundry in the world with ten years of manufacturing excellence and innovation.”

“ANADIGICS is totally committed to delivering quality products to customers around the world. This strategic agreement and implementation of our hybrid manufacturing strategy will ensure that we have the capacity to ramp up to meet growing product demand while ensuring we meet our own high internal standards for quality, delivery and customer satisfaction,” stated Russ Wagner, vice president of operations at ANADIGICS.
