Riber to distribute new thin-film deposition technology
Riber is announcing that it has signed a distribution agreement with Intercovamex, a company specialising in innovative Physical Vapour Deposition processes (PVD).
Created in Mexico in 1991 by Jean Marc Zisa, ex Riber engineer, Intercovamex is the largest high vacuum PVD system manufacturer in Latin America. These systems are very popular in many advanced materials research centers to develop a wide range of semiconductor devices.
Intercovamex is also the largest distributor of scientific equipment in Mexico, representing world leading companies. It has included RIBER for 22 years with great success. To increase this proven partnership, RIBER will now be the exclusive distributor of Intercovamex PVD systems in USA, Russis India, China, UK, France and french speaking part of Switzerland.
Riber designs and produces molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems as well as evaporation sources and cells for the semiconductor industry. This equipment is essential for the manufacturing of compound semiconductor materials and new materials that are used in numerous consumer applications, from new information technologies to OLED flat screens and new generation solar cells.
