Miasolé signs Scandinavian rep deal
Finnish roofing firm Virte Solar has signed a representation agreement with Miasolé, a producer of thin-film CIGS solar cells and panels, to cover the Scandinavia market. Virte Solar supplies building-integrated photovoltaic metal roofing based on MiaSolé FLEX modules.
Virte Solar will immediately begin shipping building-integrated solar roofing systems in the entire Scandinavia region including Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. Virte Solar says it will provide services for such areas as industrial, residential, and agricultural construction, as well as renovation projects.
Founded in Silicon Valley in 2004 and owned by Hanergy since 2012, MiaSolé has demonstrated 16 percent module efficiency in production and 18 percent cell efficiency in the lab.
