TMD to show new GaN power module at Farnborough
2 to 6 GHz module has 150W output power and adjustable 55dB gain
At Farnborough International Airshow 2016 (11th to 15th July), TMD Technologies, a microwave and RF specialist, will be exhibiting its new PTS6900 microwave power module.
The PTS6900 employs advanced 0.25 µm GaN MMIC technology and operates over the 2 to 6 GHz range.
It has 150W output power and adjustable 55dB gain, and is optimised for EW/ECM systems - with a predicted over 30,000 hours MTBF for an airborne uninhabited fighter environment, according to the company.
