Disco announces new training centre

Dedicated facility for equipment operation training established in Taiwan affiliate office

Tokyo-based Disco Corporation is establishing a new DHT (Disco HI-Tec Taiwan) Training Centre at the Disco branch office in Taiwan.

The facility is dedicated to providing equipment training  - from operation basics to maintenance -  for purchasers of Disco equipment and Disco employees.

Equipment installed will included DFD6560 dicing saw and DWR1721 deionized water recycling unit (Grinder and laser saw to be added in the future).

Previously, Disco equipment operation training, which requires technical knowledge, was performed on equipment installed at the customer's site or when equipment owned by the DHT labs was not in use. Thus, it was difficult to provide sufficient training to customers and Disco employees.

By establishing an equipment operation training facility, sufficient training services can be provided to customers and the operation rate of customers' equipment can be increased, reducing equipment downtime and increasing productivity, says the company.
