Disco completes new silicon valley office
$21M building has three times the floor area and 3.5 times the processing space of the previous building
Japanese semiconductor equipment manufacturer Disco has relocated and expanded its USA head office in California in order to strengthen its ability to respond to the needs of its customers. The relocation completion date is scheduled for early July, 2019.
The $21M office building, based San Jose, has three times the floor area and 3.5 times the processing space of the previous building, including a clean room.
Disco says that with advances in IoT, medical, communications, and self-driving technology, the development needs for semiconductors and electronic components is expanding, causing the number of requests from these companies for processing verifications and contracted processing in the device development stages to increase.
